The on-line version of this paper is not completely formatted yet. Some illustrations are missing, footnotes are missing, and superscripts are incorrect. nm2 should be nm^2, 2.3x109 should be 2.3x10^-9, etc. This will be corrected in a few days.

Chris - you can use the <sub> and <sup> tags on Mediawiki, ie. nm², 2.3x10⁹, and matrices with entries M_ij. See http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Contents for lots of cool formatting tricks. - WillWare 07:52, 5 Nov 2005 (CST)
