Nanoscale systems move faster and may be more precise than larger systems. Some nanoscale systems can manipulate molecules directly. A nanoscale construction system would be able to build its own mass of product in a fairly short time. If in addition the system can be computer-controlled, then its products may be quite complex. Nano building nano is not subject to the same limitations as top-down and bulk manufacture.
